SAVE up to $300: This Prime Day, Roborock vacuums are on sale at Amazon for some seriously competitive prices. The Roborock Q5 is currently 40% off for $259.99, while the self-emptying Q5+ is 43% off at $399.99.
Would it really be Amazon Prime Day without some serious savings on robot vacuums? We're going to go ahead and answer our own question by saying, "Hell, no!"
Robot vacuums are some of the biggest stars of Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days. Still, it's not uncommon to see top-of-the-line models listed for more than $1,000. That's why we're drawn to Roborock's popular Q series vacuums: these models are some of the very best mid-range robot vacuums, boasting competitive features and suction at affordable prices. Two of the brand's stand-out models — the Q5 and Q5+ — are being listed at hard-to-beat prices now through Oct. 11.
While Roborock vacuums are almost always on sale to some degree, these prices are much lower than usual. The Q5 is listed for $170 less than its retail price of $429.99. Meanwhile, shoppers can score $300 off the self-emptying Q5+, normally listed for $699.99. Given that earlier this year our testers named the Q5+ one of the best self-emptying vacuumsin the world, we recommend jumping on this deal while the price is still hot.
Whether you opt for the Q5 or the Q5+ will depend on your budget and your home's particular needs. While both models have the same formidable suction power and convenient app and voice control, there are some key differences — the most important being that the Q5+ will empty its own dust bin. It comes with a self-emptying dock, which can hold up to 2.5L of debris. This amounts to about seven weeks of hands-free cleaning time. Meanwhile, the Q5 has a 450mL dustbin that must be emptied by hand each time it's full. (If you're wondering if that will be enough for your home, Roborock equates this size with a job of 3,230 sqare feet.)
Be sure to scoop up these deals before they're cleaned out! And for more savings, check out Mashable's guide to the best Prime Day deals on self-emptying robot vacuums.
