There's no disputing that Beyoncé reigns supreme in the music industry, but now there's monetary proof that she really is at the top of her game.
The singer landed the number one spot on Forbeslist declaring her the highest paid woman in music this year, and she barely released music.
Forbes works within the perimeters of June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017 to come to its decision—and all income is counted before taxes and fees. Bey, who landed at fifth place just last year, leads the pack with $105 million to her name. The majority of her earnings came through the wildly successful Formation World Tour in support of last year's Lemonade. According to Forbes, it alone made a quarter of a billion dollars.
She's followed by the touring wonder that is Adele, $69 million, and Taylor Swift, who jumped from first place last year after she clocked in $44 million in a relatively quiet year.
