OnePlus will launch its new flagship, the OnePlus 7 Pro, at a New York City event on May 14, the company announced Tuesday.
The launch event will also be held near-simultaneously in London, Bangalore and Beijing.
SEE ALSO: OnePlus CEO not impressed by folding phonesThere's no word on what the new OnePlus will be like, though the addition of the "Pro" moniker indicates that there will also be a regular, less powerful variant of the phone.
OnePlus CEO Pete Lau did confirm to The Verge that the Pro variant will have a "significant display upgrade" over the regular variant, as well as a 5G option.

No other specs were released officially, but rumors indicate both the OnePlus 7 and the Pro will have a 6.7-inch screen, a Snapdragon 855 CPU, 6/8/12GB of RAM, 128/256GB of storage, a triple, 48/16/8-megapixel camera array, a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 4,000mAh battery.
